By using TreeHugr, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. User Responsibility & Content Policy

Crucial Notice: You are solely and exclusively responsible for the data, text, links, and information you place within your mind maps. TreeHugr provides the canvas, but you provide the content.

To maintain a safe, professional, and productive environment for all users, you strictly agree NOT to upload, create, or share content that is:

Inappropriate or Offensive: Content that is pornographic, violent, or promotes hatred.
Harassing: Content used to bully, defame, or infringe upon the rights of others.
Illegal: Any data that promotes illegal activities or violates intellectual property laws.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove any content or terminate user accounts that violate these responsibilities without prior notice.

3. Data Storage & Privacy

TreeHugr operates on a hybrid storage model:

Local Storage: Your maps are primarily saved in your browser's local cache. Clearing this cache will result in data loss unless exported.
Cloud Storage: Registered users may sync data to our secure servers. While we implement industry-standard security, we are not liable for data breaches beyond our control.

We strongly recommend using the "Export" feature regularly to maintain your own offline backups.

4. Disclaimer & Limitations

TreeHugr services are provided "as is." We shall not be held liable for any data loss, damages, or business interruptions arising from the use or inability to use the materials on our platform.
